A recent study suggests that approximately 1.8M Americans over 70 have some form of undiagnosed dementia. Some people will choose not to have their mind evaluated while others aren’t given the opportunity due to barriers in our health-care system.
Unfortunately, many of these people are unable to live their lives fully because they don’t understand what is causing their cognition issues. While some may have a debilitating disease such as Alzheimer’s, others might have a correctable dementia.
